Promotion of young scientists

The «Platform Chemistry» would like to motivate young people to become more involved in the sciences in general and chemistry in particular. Therefore, it advocates the promotion of young scientists in the subject area of chemistry at all educational levels:

• Chemie mit Globi (an instructive children’s book about chemistry in everyday life in German/French)
• The «Chemistry Travel Award» for PhD students in chemical sciences
• The Young Faculty Meeting for young group leaders in chemical sciences

The «Platform Chemistry» supports the academy's projects for the promotion of young scientists (e.g. «Mentoring of Matura Assignments») and also pursues this goal in cooperation with external partners.
